Occold's dancefloor has air-conditioning, plus a well-equipped kitche-hour n, & bar facility every time.  Ample parking is via a narrow drive at the side of the 'Beaconsfield Arms' pub (just outside on the main road), and which MAY serve food ...

If approaching UP the A140, at White Horse pub crossroads, turn RIGHT signposted to Thorndon (leaving pub on the left).  Follow road for about 9 minutes to Occold, which is signposted once you're through Thorndon village.  If coming from Ipswich it's maybe preferable to come through the country route, so then no need to come up the A140 at all.

From the Norwich direction, simply drive through Eye and keep going for 2 miles
out of the town, before taking signposted turning to the left into village of Occold,
where the village hall will be found on the RIGHT.
